The ‘EastEnders’ mass exodus is continuing, and the latest star to leave is Riley Carter-Millington, who plays Kyle Slater.
Riley made his first appearance in the soap in October last year, making history in the process, as it marked the first time a British soap had ever had a transgender actor in a continuing role as a transgender character.
Addressing his exit, Riley tells Metro.co.uk: “When I landed a 6 month contract at ‘EastEnders’ it was a dream come true. For that to be extended to a year was something I never expected.
A number of ‘EastEnders’ stars have announced their exit in recent weeks, and just yesterday (Wednesday 14 September), it was announced that Claudette Hubbard actress Ellen Thomas is also departing Walford for good.
Mitchell sisters Ronnie and Roxy will also be waving goodbye to Albert Square, along with Masood and Lee Carter.
There have been some new arrivals to make up for the exits though, including the appearance of Grant Mitchell’s secret son, Mark Fowler Jr.
