The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ stars donned their best costumes and make-up for Saturday (29 October) night’s Halloween special, as they did their best to avoid frightful scores.
However, it’s not easy to impress the judges and Craig Revel Horwood was certainly feeling rather harsh when it came to the scoring, but one celebrity stood out from the bunch for errm, mixed reasons.
Yes, it’s time to talk about Ed Balls.
The former MP has certainly been giving it his all on the show, and Fright Night seriously suited him, with his Cha Cha to ‘Love Potion No. 9’ earning a score of four from Craig - which is really something, trust us - and a whooping eight from Bruno Tonioli.
This means he’s off the bottom of the leaderboard, where Anastacia and Brendan Cole currently sit.
While the judges were impressed with Ed, they weren’t so easy on Danny Mac, who admitted to making a series of mistakes during his and Oti Mabuse’s Foxtrot to ‘Take Me to Church.
A number of viewers took to Twitter to slam the judges’ scoring, especially as Len Goodman and Bruno gave Ed and Danny identical scores, of seven and eight respectively:
Ore Oduba also faltered, and ended up in joint fourth place on the leaderboard.
Another couple will leave the show on Sunday (30 October). Tune in to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ at 7.15pm to see who’s out of the competition.
