Ryan Lawrie has become the seventh act to be voted off this year’s ‘X Factor’.

The singer left the competition during Sunday (20 November) night’s results show, after landing in the bottom two alongside Honey G.

Both acts had polled the fewest votes from the public, following their performances on Saturday’s Movie Week spectacular.

After host Dermot O’Leary announced they were in the sing off, Ryan Lawrie and Honey G performed again in the hope of being saved by the judges.

Ryan brought out his guitar and sang Ed Sheeran’s 2011 hit ‘Lego House’, whilst Honey G performed Missy Elliott’s 2008 classic ‘Get Ya Freak On’.

Following the sing-off, Nicole Scherzinger opted to save Ryan, who is one of her own acts, but Simon Cowell Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne all saved Honey G.

Simon said: “Ryan you were my wildcard and what you’ve done has been incredible but you’ve been in the bottom a lot.

“Should we go to deadlock? The one who for me, felt like she wanted to stay more was Honey G - So I’m going to save Honey G.”

After Honey G was saved, many viewers took to Twitter, accusing the show of being fixed.

Cowell just admitted it had nothing to with music. Doesn't think Honey G will win (but will bring in viewers) #XFactor #XtraFactorLive

Only a bit fishy that 3 of the judges voted to keep Honey G in 🤔 desperate for rating much? #Xfactor

So #SimonCowell saved #HoneyG on the bases he thinks she wants it more! Seriously UNFAIR and #Louis?! just proves again #XFactor is fixed

I feel this confirms how fixed the show it. How can such a talented artist be kicked out by a awful excuse of a rapper #XFactor
