Susanna Reid On What It’s Really Like Having To Work With Piers Morgan Every Day

She's got more patience than we'd have, that's for sure.

Susanna Reid has opened up about how she copes with the toughest part of her job, and no, we don’t mean the horrendously early starts necessary for her ‘Good Morning Britain’ role.

As viewers will know, it’s not the alarm clock that hassles the presenter, but her co-host Piers Morgan.

Susanna has now opened up about what it’s really like working with the presenter, who isn’t afraid to let his temper rise as she attempts to keep the peace.

Unsurprisingly, Susanna says their dynamic has shed new light on the phrase “love-hate relationship”, telling OK! Online: “I do say that about Piers – it’s the first time I’ve ever understood that phrase.

“I both love him and hate him at the same time.”

Controversy-magnet Piers is never far away from the headlines, and earlier this week, he found himself at the centre of a heated debate, after admitting “skepticism” over Lady Gaga’s revelation that she suffers post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The ‘Million Reasons’ singer bravely spoke out about the fact she has suffered since being raped, but Piers decided to cast doubt over her claims on Twitter.

Gaga then gracefully replied online and has since agreed to discuss her mental health in an in-depth interview with Piers.
