He’s arguably the most divisive winner in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ history, so many fans will be pleased to hear Stephen Bear has ruled himself out of a return.
The show’s reigning champion was one of the first names rumoured to be heading back into the house for the upcoming ‘All Stars And New Stars’ series, which kicks off next month.
However, the former ‘Ex On The Beach’ star has now claimed he is “officially” not taking part, as he responded to the reports on Twitter.
Bear wrote: “I can officially say I’m not doing CBB in Jan. I wasn’t cool enough.”
Many ‘CBB’ fans will be overjoyed at the announcement, as Bear’s antagonistic behaviour upset some viewers during the last series.
Despite this, he still managed to beat Ricky Norwood and Renee Graziano to be crowned winner.
Among those who are said to be returning are notorious celebrity gossip columnist Perez Hilton, professional reality TV villains Speidi, antiques expert Lauren Harries, former ‘X Factor’ stars Jedward and US socialite Jasmine Waltz.
Meanwhile, only a handful of ‘New Stars’ have been rumoured so far, with Bianca Gascoigne and ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Danielle Armstrong leading the list of potential newbies.
‘Celebrity Big Brother’ launches on Tuesday 3 January at 9pm on Channel 5.
