Mummy, Blogger, Exerciser, Reality TV lover
Early 30's mum to Lil aged 2 and wife to be to Ryan. Can't bake, or cook, I suck at crafting and can't cope with the mess of painting.
Somehow (with the help of Ryan) I am managing to create a semi-normal toddler.
I don't try to be "bad ass mummy" or "perfect mummy" just aiming for somewhere around "pretty good mummy".
Originally born in Scotland, relocated to Norfolk at the age of 7, now residing in Leeds resulting in an incredibly odd accent. I get asked if I am Australian a lot. I'm not.
Recently entered the world of blogging on Hump, Bump & Baby inspired by 3 years of fertility struggles and now 1-1/2 years of trying for baby number 2.
1 kidney and only half my reproductive organs always make for interesting dinner party tales...
Recently lost 5 stone weight without the aid of any near death slimming aids! Probably one of my biggest achievements in life. The good old fashion hard way of moving more and eating less got me through it and changed my life forever. I can probably be a little preachy about weight loss and exercise now. Sorry, not sorry.
I like to think I am intelligent but probably slightly less intelligent since watching Finding Nemo 367 times, in the last week.
I can't watch anything educational on TV, my brain can only cope with US series or reality TV. Oh unless its a documentary about sharks or serial killers which probably doesn't paint me in a great light.
Love music and concerts. My playlist include such gems as 1D, Blue, Foo Fighters, Kanye West, 2Pac (I tried to smoke Red Malboroughs in school when I found out 2Pac did - couldn't breathe for a week) and UB40. Its an eclectic mix.
I'm pretty normal and average but have achieved some pretty awesome things in my life the biggest being my daughter who I never thought I would be lucky enough to meet. She's an incredible human being and I am most proud when she announces in a very busy public toilet that she can see mummies bottom and it has pooh on it (it didn't, she's a liar..)
