'Big Brother' 2016 House Revealed In First Look Pictures, Ahead Of New Series

Home (not so) sweet home...

The first pictures of the revamped 'Big Brother' house has been revealed, ahead of the new series.

The Borehamwood bungalow has undergone a radical overhaul in preparation for the 17th run of the show, which kicks off on Tuesday (7 June).

The reality TV residence has taken on a monochrome and neon theme this year, with the living room being brought to life by two colourful circular sofas, and featuring a huge window which looks into the adjacent bedroom.

The housemates will also have the use of a hot tub and a swimming pool, and the garden also boasts a new seating area and decking.

However, this is just one half of the story, as bosses have confirmed there will be two houses in use on this year's series.

A new 700 square foot extension has been built on the show's compound at Elstree studios, where a group of contestants called 'The Others' will live.

And it seems fans are being kept in the dark about what the new house will look like, although we already know it has its own garden and swimming pool, with rumours also suggesting that it will be a two-storey structure.

The residents of ‘The Other House’ will spend their time conspiring to target and take down their rivals, as they attempt to steal their place in their place in the main house and win the £100,000 prize fund.

While the main house will seemingly be unaware that ‘The Others’ even exist, what both residences will not know is that some of them are already connected to each other.

“These connections could turn both houses upside down,” a press release from Channel 5 read. “But what are these connections and how will Big Brother use them to keep everyone on their toes?”

Join Emma Willis on Tuesday 7 June, at 9pm, as ‘Big Brother’ returns to Channel 5.
