After an undeniably massive 12 months, Stormzy was the big winner at this year’s Brit Awards, scooping both of the awards he was nominated for.
As well as Best British Male, he scooped the coveted British Album gong for his debut effort ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’, before closing the show with a hair-raising performance of ‘Big For Your Boots’, ‘Blinded By Your Grace, pt.2’ and a new rap taking aim at Theresa May, institutionalised racism and the Daily Mail.
It was also a big night for Dua Lipa who, one year after being shortlisted for the Critics’ Choice award, took home both British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.
She also performed during the show, bringing more than 100 dancers with her for a continuation of her ‘New Rules’ video.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran didn’t take home any of the awards he was nominated for, but didn’t leave empty-handed, as he bagged the Global Success prize.
