Getting tomato ketchup out of a glass bottle is an absolute faff, yet most pubs seem to insist on using the traditional bottles instead of plastic ones.
Thankfully, Heinz has revealed a sneaky life hack to help us all get its sauce out more easily.
The secret is hidden in the bottle’s “57” emblem which stands for “57 varieties”, the catchphrase Heinz used to use back in the 1890s before it started making thousands of products.
A spokesperson for Heinz told the Mirror: “To release ketchup faster from a glass bottle, here is a little secret from Heinz.
“The sweet spot to tap on the Heinz bottle is the embossed 57 on the neck.
“All you need to do is apply a firm tap where the bottle narrows, and the ketchup will come out easier.”
We’ll never fight with ketchup bottles again.
