Jacqueline Jossa has teased ‘EastEnders’ viewers with what they can expect when her character returns to Walford later this year.
Just short of one year on from the birth of her daughter, Ella, Jacqueline’s maternity leave is coming to an end, and she’s teased soap fans with details of her return as Lauren Branning, insisting it won’t be typical of ‘EastEnders’ comebacks.
She tells the Daily Star: “It is a dramatic return. It’s not your average ‘EastEnders’ thing where people are screaming and shouting but it will shock people.”
Lauren Branning is currently living in New Zealand with Peter Beale, the father of her baby son, briefly returning last year to try and clear her father’s name when he was falsely imprisoned for murder.
However, she’ll be making a permanent return later in the year, which Jacqueline says she has mixed feelings about.
Jacqueline and Dan have been engaged since last summer, but recently revealed that they were postponing their wedding as they’d simply “ran out of time” to plan their nuptials properly.
She previously said of her ‘EastEnders’ return: “I can’t wait to get back and just smash it.
