Jeremy Corbyn has inspired many people to do many things since becoming Labour leader, but this might be the most intense.
Lisa Dempster decided to record her own version of the Labi Saffre classic ‘Something Inside So Strong’ to show her support for the Labour leader.
With “no fancy equipment”, Dempster serenades the Corbynistas with her rendition of the 80s hit.
YouTube users were quick to compliment Dempster on her performance, with one writing: “Well done Lisa, you’ve made me cry, i am so inspired by you, Bless you,. xx.”
On Facebook, one person described the video as “a very special tribute to Jeremy who is standing up against the vile abuse and dishonesty in the interest of democracy, decency and justice.”
The user added: “Your tribute has enabled me to find more energy and determination for the struggle ahead.”
Heartfelt ballads seem to be the music of choice for Corbyn fans, with supporters breaking out into a performance of ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ at a rally in London earlier this month.
