No week is quite complete without a bizarre social media craze sweeping the internet - and this time, it’s all about the Mannequin Challenge.
The trend has been jumped on by the likes of Hillary Clinton, Destiny’s Child and Adele, as well as entire cheerleading squads and classrooms of students.
The idea is that people stand really still (hence the ‘mannequin’ part), while striking hilarious poses. Meanwhile a camera pans around them.
The challenge was originally carried out with the song ‘Black Beatles’ by Rae Sremmurd playing in the background, however people have since taken to using their creative license, trying anything from cowboy music to ambient instrumentals.
It’s essentially 2016’s answer to musical statues. And it’s causing a hell of a lot of amusement.
