‘Doctor Foster’ and presenting duo Ant and Dec led the winners at the National Television Awards on Tuesday (23 January) night.
Suranne Jones was in attendance as ‘Doctor Foster’ picked up two awards, including Best Drama and Best Actress, while the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ hosts made their way to the podium three times.
One of Ant and Dec’s awards was the gong for Best Presenter, which they won for the 17th consecutive year.
Ant became emotional during his speech, following a “tough” year, which saw him overcome a painkiller addiction and split from wife Lisa.
The duo also won the inaugural Bruce Forsyth Entertainment prize, named in memory of the former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ host, who died last year.
Other winners included ‘Emmerdale’, which scooped the sought-after Best Serial Drama accolade, and Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon.
