Post-US Election Racism Documented By Shaun King Of Black Lives Matter

Fears the US election result would mirror the post-Brexit racism appear to have been realised.

Despite Donald Trump making a pledge of unity during his acceptance speech, a number of incidents have been reported.

In fact, even as the President-Elect was speaking, someone in the audience shouted “hang Obama”.

Ominously, the former Grand Wizard of the KKK, David Duke, has congratulated Trump.

Shaun King, writer and active member of the Black Lives Matter movement, has been documenting incidents on his Facebook page along with many other people across social media platforms.

It should be noted however that violent events against Trump supporters have also been reported such as this.
