‘The Chase’ team have cause for celebrations next week, as the show’s 1000th episode will air - and bosses have something special up their sleeve.
On Thursday 29 September, the show’s format will be a little different, as all five of the Chasers are set to feature in one episode.
The hour-long episode will see the team of four contestants each facing a different chaser during the Cash Builder rounds.
Those who manage to get through to The Final Chase will then face the final, remaining chaser.
‘The Chase’ has now been on our screens for seven years, and host Bradley Walsh has shared his excitement ahead of the celebration episode.
“We’ve made it to the 1000th episode of The Chase as the show is so entertaining and informative,” he says. “I’m so lucky I get to be a part of such a great team and have a laugh at work, I even learn some things too.
“People love it because they can see how much we are enjoying ourselves. The special is going to be one ‘Chase’ fans won’t want to miss.”
‘The Chase’ may be a reasonably tough quiz show, but that doesn’t mean there haven’t been some funny moments over the years.
The show hit headlines back in January, when one contestant found herself dubbed the “worst ever”. Ouch.
