The former Strictly Come Dancing finalist has admitted she was "in shock" after her marriage to rugby player Richie Myler ended last year.
The Countryfile host explained her decision to step down on her BBC 5 Live show on Sunday.

The show aired a day earlier than usual due to the BBC's World Cup coverage.

Helen and her husband of nine years parted ways in April, with the presenter signing up for Strictly just a few months later.
The former Blue Peter and Countryfile star said she "just wanted to do something fun".
All 15 contestants for the new series of the BBC ballroom show have now been confirmed.
