Channel 5 today reveals the long awaited look at the brand new Big Brother house ahead of the show's launch on the channel next week.
Filmed at the iconic Elstree Studios, the series will kick-off with an all star celebrity version which will be followed by the 'classic' Big Brother, featuring members of the public.
This exclusive look inside the Big Brother house sees a bigger, bolder and more opulent house than ever before that starts from the entrance; a curved disco-esque illuminated staircase, right through to the cool alfresco dining area in the huge garden which boast the longest swimming pool to ever feature in the house.
The house is open plan with the staircase leading directly into a colourful stylized lounge area complete with quirky, vibrant seating area. In keeping with the spacious feel the modern kitchen looks directly into the bathroom via a large window partition, so privacy will be minimal. A palm tree strewn beach provides the perfect backdrop on the interior wall closest to the kitchen - bringing a little bit of paradise to the house.
The designer bedroom features the pick of the finest beds including a luxurious double, for housemates of a more 'friendly' persuasion.
In a Big Brother first, the new house features a relaxing sauna room where housemates can de-stress and chill out. As a special treat for our celebrity guests Big Brother has provide them with a state of the art gym featuring treadmills, step-machines and all the creature comforts their personal trainers would be proud of and any frustrations can be
unleashed.
Gavin Henderson, Creative Director for Big Brother at Endemol adds: "Big Brother on Channel 5 will be produced by Endemol UK 's production arm Initial. Channel 5′s Head of Factual Entertainment, Steve Gowans, will oversee the new series for the channel."
