Rihanna has become the latest international pop star to feel the wrath of UK councillors, after stripping down for a video in a field in Bangor, County Down.
The Rude Boy star was filming her latest pop video in a red bikini and low-cut jeans when the owner of the cornfield, DUP Alderman Alan Graham, told her to stop.
The incident happened just days after Britney Spears came under fire for filming a video in Stoke Newington, London, while brandishing a gun.
Hackney Council claimed that it was in poor taste in light of the recent London riots.
The modest councillor who put a stop to Rihanna’s sexual antics told BBC News: "I thought it was inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did.
"I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I'm coming from. We shook hands.”
He added:"I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater god."
