Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 launched last night, bringing the fanboys and celebs out of the woodwork for the "The Most Anticipated Game in History".
The glossy crowd assembled at Old Billingsgate Market in London for the European launch were a touch slicker than your average game store queuer.
Fans desperate to get their hands on the game camped out to get the game at 2,500 midnight launches. Or, as parody tweeter @FillWerrell put it on Twitter "The largest gathering of virgins is happening at a Game Stop near you."
Elsewhere on Twitter, @femster82 wrote "Just had to break a heart when I said I got #MW3 I can't see you for a few weeks. Don't worry bout food and drink I don't need it." @Emo185 tweeted "Just got a text message from my brother saying it took him 2 hours to get #MW3 at Midnight Launch - he joined queue at 11.40pm".
Other fans, like @Warburton450 ditched the queue and ordered online. He tweeted "Could never queue up hours for #MW3. I'm a hardcore gamer. But I can differentiate between having a f*cking life and playing games."
