Sydney local radio presenter, Richard Glover, has broken the world record for the longest ever one-on-one broadcast interview.
The ABC Local Radio drive host took on the 24-hour challenge of interviewing author and journalist Peter FitzSimons at 10am on Sunday and finally decided they'd talked enough at 10am on Monday.
The previous record of 12 hours and 30 seconds was held by Spain's Pedro Ruiz, set in Madrid in 2009.

FitzSimons, the author of Mawson and Nancy Wake, is a self-confessed talker who says that, just as his father grew oranges, he grows opinions. Glover said: "I barely got a word in."
