Tom Cruise has joined the campaign to find missing Ben Needham.
The Hollywood actor lend his hand to the 24 hour Twitter marathon entitled 'Tweet 4 Ben', aimed to find the boy who disappeared 20 years ago from the Greek island of Kos.
The campaign was organised up by Peterhead man Scott Morrison, who set up a website for Ben's mother Kerry Grist after being so moved by the toddler's disappearance.
As well as Tom Cruise, Coronation Street star Kym Marsh and actor Tom Arnold also got behind the effort to find him, retweeting a message which aimed to get 10,000 followers on their Facebook page.
Cruise's tweet to his 2.4m followers provided a huge boost to the campaign, leaving mother Kerry in shock.
"There was a message that Tom Cruise had re-tweeted, it was like a different world, it was unreal. It shows that people, whoever they are, care and that is amazing for us."
Ben was kidnapped from outside his grandparents house on the island aged 21 moths while he sat playing in their front garden.
A police investigation to find him proved unsuccessful leading to Ben's family funding their own private investigation.
