Kelly Rowland To Leave 'The X Factor'

Kelly Rowland is to leave The X Factor after describing the show as a 'circus' and admitting that she struggled with the spats between the judges.

A source told the The Mirror: "She enjoyed her time on the programme but was taken aback by the circus surrounding it.

"From his side, Simon felt that Kelly had got off to a really strong start but slightly faded towards the latter half of the series.

"He is already on the look-out for fresh talent."

Kelly sparked rumours that she was unhappy on the show after an apparent 'rare illness' when the former Destiny's Child star failed to return from America for one of the live shows last October.

Speaking about her illness at the time, Kelly said: "I'm so sick - I have no idea what is wrong with me, but I have the worst sore throat."

However, fans of the show mocked the singer for putting on a sick voice in a bid to make herself sound more ill than she really was.

Kelly also became embroiled in a spat with fellow judge Tulisa Contostavlos when the N-Dubz singer revealed the pair stopped talking last November.

According to The Mirror at the time, Kelly told a friend: "Tulisa and I have no relationship. The show has become a living hell. I don't know how long I can tolerate this for."
