Peaches Geldof has revealed that she is expecting her first child on the birthday of her late mother, Paula Yates.
The due date of the 22-year-old's new baby is 24 April which is the same day that her mother - who tragically died of a heroin overdose at the age of 41 - was born.
In an interview with Hello! magazine, the star said: "I feel like it's a little wink from my mum - her way of sending a message to let me know she's watching over me and my baby.
"It was amazing for me when they told me that, very emotional and touching and just really beautiful. I was so happy."
Peaches, who is pregnant with her musician fiance Thomas Cohen's child, broke the news of her pregnancy to dad Sir Bob Geldof on Boxing Day and was surprised at his relaxed reaction.
She said: "Oh my God, he was so happy, especially as I'm having a boy. The poor man's been surrounded by women up till now.
"I didn't realise how over the moon he would be. He's always been very supportive of me but he was really overwhelmed and emotional."
Fiance Tom proposed to the star last summer but the couple only revealed the news publicly last month.
During a chat with the Daily Mirror, she said: "Yes, I'm engaged! We don't want to get married for a couple of years yet though so don't expect me in a dress yet. I'm so happy!"
