A man has been charged with the murder of a teenager who was stabbed in the heart on the UK's busiest shopping street.
Thulani Khumalo, 20, was held by police after Seydou Diarrassouba, 18, was killed on Boxing Day near a Foot Locker store on London's Oxford Street.
Khumalo, of Etherley Road, north London, will appear before magistrates on Wednesday, Scotland Yard said.
Mr Diarrassouba, of Mitcham, south-west London, was fatally injured after a fight broke out in the busy shoe store.
His family later paid tribute to the teenager, saying: "Seydou kept us upright and now we feel weak as we have lost a very special part of us.
"Life seems meaningless without our special son and brother."
Another seven men, two aged 22, three aged 16 and others aged 20 and 17, have been arrested in relation to the police probe and remain on bail.
Khumalo will appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court, north west London.
