Cher Lloyd was renowned for being a bit of a madam during her time on The X Factor in 2010.
But now the singer has admitted for the first time that she behaved badly on the show.
In an honest interview with The Sun's Fabulous magazine, Cher told of how she turned into such a monster.
“I was a beast! Everyone hated me," she said. "I was young and foolish. Part of me was trying to show I was strong enough to do it, and then I think it all got too much for me.
"I was angry with the way I was being edited and because of that I turned into this horrible person, with a terrible attitude.”
It was reported at the time that one of the biggest strops Cher had was with then fashion stylist, Grace Woodwood, after Cher refused to wear an outfit picked for her minutes before going on stage.
But despite admitting her bad attitude, the singer still defended her choices.
She said: "I struggle with my appearance, I'm really picky with clothes and sometimes that can put me in situations where people think that I'm being a brat. But really it's my self-confidence. I feel I'm too skinny and it's really difficult.”
X Factor judge Louis Walsh previously hit out at the star's tantrums, admitting he struggled to get on with her when she was a contestant.
"Cher Lloyd and me are like oil and water. I just didn't like her attitude backstage," he told Heat magazine.
"It was like she thought she was a pop star. She got very big for her boots and had no likeability factor."
