Kym Marsh's romance with her fiance Jamie Lomas is on the rocks after the soap hunk swapped Hollyoaks for Hollywood.
The on-screen bad boy, who played Warren Fox in the Channel 4 soap, has moved Stateside in a bid to make it in the movies.
He left the couple's 10-month old daughter Polly with Kym while she stars as Michelle Connor on ITV soap Corrie, but the distance is failing to make their hearts grow fonder.
According to The Mirror, the couple are struggling to make a long-distance relationship work.
A source tells the paper: "Kym had no idea how difficult the time apart would prove for them.
"She was always supportive of Jamie's decision to go out to America - acting is a tough industry and you have to make sacrifices. But she wants him to come home now.
"She is driven up the wall at the moment trying to balance a young baby along with her two other children, and at a time when she's heavily involved with her own career.
"It has really put a strain on their relationship. The combination of the distance between them and the stress Kym is under at home has led to several arguments over the phone and on Skype.
"It's a tough time for their relationship. It is on the rocks right now. Only time will tell if they come through it."
The couple have already fought for the relationship after they lost their son Archie shortly after he was born in 2008. They split the following year, but got back together and went on to become parents to little Polly last year.
Kim is already a mum to two children, David and Emily, from a previous relationship, while Jamie has a son Billy by an ex-girlfriend.
