Coleen Rooney Heads To the Races To See Her Horse Pippy Finish... Last

Why The Long Face, Coleen?

You can't really blame Coleen Rooney for looking a little down in the mouth - her racehorse just came last in its very first race.

Coleen - dressed in cream shorts, jacket and Christian Louboutin skyscraper heels - was at Chester races earlier today to see her two-year-old colt Pippy finish last in the Manor House Stables Lily Agnes Stakes.

Ahead of the race, jockey Richard Kingscote tweeted: "As my horse is a non runner in the lily agnes, I'm lucky enough to be able to ride @waynerooney @coleenrooney horse in the race."

Coleen and footballer hubby Wayne forked out £60K on Pippy, which is named after Wayne's childhood nickname for his wife. The couple also own another two racehorses, Tomway and Switcharooney.

But don't feel too bad for the couple - Pippy cost the Manchester United striker less than half his weekly wage.
