We're sure most of you out there, even the most studious of students, have played a couple of pranks before. But there's always one or two who take things that little bit too far.
Jack Cullen told us on Twitter: "The ultimate prank was when 5 boys slowly smuggled boat parts into the school pool area, then assembled it one night! And ran off with the tools, so there was just this huge boat in the pool!
"They were never caught. Although the cost of purchasing a large boat and the necessary grasp of mechanics was indicative."
But it's not just ordinary students who like to indulge in a bit of pranking. Francis Boulle, of Made in Chelsea fame, was allegedly a notorious prankster during his time at the prestigious all-boys Oratory School in Woodcote, Reading.
A source at the school claims the well-loved redhead set 7,000 live locusts, beetles and crickets into the school's atrium.
"The red carpet was covered in bugs," our source recounts. "The whole floor was moving."
The school reportedly had to draft exterminators in to deal with the pests, which had started getting rather promiscuous, but even after three weeks "you could still hear crickets chirping under the floorboards".
Boulle remained tight-lipped about the scandal, and refused to verify or deny the rumour but he did tell us one of the more memorable incidents during "prank week" at the Oratory.
"There was a lot to live up to really," Boulle remembered. "While I was there some of the older boys took a teacher's Mini, dismantled it, and then put it back together in the library. Everyone got quite creative during prank week, much to the annoyance of the teachers."
