Mitch Winehouse Open To Amy Hologram

Holo There: Amy Winehouse Could Stage A Return - As A Hologram

Amy Winehouse could be the latest celebrity resurrected from the grave in the shape of a hologram after her father gave his blessing to the trendy technological feat.

Following Tupac Shakur's 'appearance' at this year's Coachella festival, several late music stars have been tipped to appear back on stage as holograms.

Amy's father Mitch admits he is open to the idea, as he just wants his daughter's musical memory to live on.

He tells The Sun: "The most important thing to Amy was the music and I'm sure a lot of people would like to hear her sing again. It depends on what Amy's fans want as a way to keep her memory alive. If it's a book, an album or a hologram, then so be it."

However, Mitch admits he wouldn't be able to witness it if it happened, explaining: "I can't watch Amy on TV or listen to her songs, it's really difficult."

It's the latest tribute attempt from her parents - they are hoping to have a bronze memorial statue installed of their daughter at London music venue The Roundhouse.

A spokesperson for the venue told Camden New Journal: "We have been in talks with Mitch Winehouse about this, and it's an idea we are entirely in support of. We are in the initial stages of the discussion process at the moment."
