Ever been tempted to give someone an out-and-out swear-o-matic tongue lashing - then lived to regret it? Of course you have.
However, it's rarely advisable to let rip at your nearest and dearest - or even your not-so-dearest, come to think of it.
Two German entrepreneurs have come up with a strangely satisfying alternative in the form of a swearing hotline. Called Schimpf-los - which translates as "Swear Away" - the line is staffed by thick-skinned operators who'll listen to your potty-mouthed tirade for just 1.49 euros per minute. Bargain!
Co-creator Ralf Schulte told Reuters news agency: "We don't judge people who are angry. It happens. It's natural. With us, you can blow off steam, no strings attached."
And if you're feeling a bit tongue-tied or aren't quite creative enough with your swearing, the hotline operators will be only too happy to help you out with a few suggestions. So you get to work out your frustration and learn a few new swear words. What a great service!
