Fears Grow For Missing 'Vulnerable' Nine-Year-Old

A nine-year-boy has been missing overnight after last being seen at an allotment, police said.

Joshua Brent was seen by his mother at their home in Botley Drive, Havant, Hampshire, at 6.30pm on Sunday.

Police have issued an appeal for information about Joshua Brent

He was spotted by a group of children at the Ditcham Crescent allotments at 7pm but there have been no reported sightings since.

Inspector Martin Gilholm, from Hampshire Police, said: "Joshua is just nine years old and has been out all night. He is a vulnerable young boy and we're anxious to get him home as soon as possible.

"Anyone who may have seen Joshua, or knows where he is, is asked to call us immediately."

Joshua is described as white and of slim build with mousey-brown hair which is slightly long on top. When last seen he was wearing navy blue trousers and a black and white check zip-up hooded top.
