The mother of a British school boy who wrote a letter to David Cameron begging to be allowed home after being 'kidnapped' has told how he is "desperate to come home."
Adam Jones, 13, was allegedly kidnapped by his wealthy Qatari uncle Fahad al-Mudhaki almost three years ago in what his mother thinks could be related to a row over inheritance.
His mother Rebecca said on Monday morning she had been fighting to get him back "since the day he was taken."

The 45-year-old told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "I fly to Qatar twice a week on a Monday and a Wednesday for four hour visits. We are basically locked in a room and not allowed outside. It's quite horrific, to be honest."
Adam's parents, Jamal and Rebecca, met in 1994 when she worked in Bahrain but split shortly after his birth. Jamal, whose family are Qatari, died in 2005, and Rebecca says her son was abducted when she took him to Qatar for a three day visit in October 2009.
The Guardian reports Rebecca was then asked to sign documents in Arabic which she thought were about safeguarding her son's inheritance. "I'll never forget what Adam's uncle Fahad told me: 'I have lied to you and tricked you, Jamal did not take your son but I will'," she said.
"I just wanted to go home with my son and was not interested in the lands or money my son had been left by his father. It did not occur to me what would happen."
She read out a letter her son wrote to prime minister David Cameron out of "desperation", which said:
"I have written a letter to Prince Charles because nothing has happened and I think no one cares about me. I have been away from my mum for two-and-a-half years and it is too long for me to bear."
Cameron has replied to the note saying: "I promise I have not forgotten about you – and will keep trying to make some progress."

The Foreign Office said they would continue trying to support Rebecca.
A Downing Street spokesperson said: "The Prime Minister has raised this case with the Prime Minister of Qatar. He believes that it is important that the child's views are taken into account as set out in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child."
Adam's full letter to David Cameron
Dear Prime Minister,
On 31 May it is my birthday and my one wish is to come home to my mum and to my family. It is one year since I wrote to you asking for your help. I was so happy when you wrote and told me you would do your best to get me home, every day I wait for my mum to come and get me. Did you forget about me? I want to go home now, I am very sad and lonely.
I have written a letter to Prince Charles because nothing has happened and I think no one cares about me. I have been away from my mum for two-and-a-half years and it is too long for me to bear. Please, I beg you not to forget about me and please let me go home to my family. Adam.
