For a second there we thought Miley Cyrus had done a Britney and taken a razor to her own hair. With her eyes closed. But no readers, Miley actually paid someone to create her new do.
Hmmm, maybe it'll grow on us.
Miley debuted the *phones Trevor Sorbie* platinum blonde pixie crop on her Twitter page but her new look barnet got the thumbs down from many of her fans - which didn't go down too well with the former Disney star.
"If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all," she wrote on Twitter. "My hair is attached to my head no one else's and it's going bye bye :)"
The drastic new do was created by Chris McMillan - the same celeb hairdresser who created Jennifer Aniston's 'Rachel' haircut back in her Friends days.

Despite the criticism, the Hannah Montana star was still chuffed with her new look, telling her 7 million Twitter followers: "Never felt more me in my whole life".
