Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley joined fans at the graveside of Elvis, 35 years after his death
Lisa Marie Presley and her mother Priscilla turned out to greet thousands of Elvis devotees who flocked to the late star's Graceland mansion in Tennessee to pay their respects in what has become an annual event.
It marked the first time Lisa Marie and Priscilla have joined in the vigil, which ran throughout the night and into Thursday morning. Pictures here...
They both thanked fans for their devotion and Lisa Marie revealed why she had never joined in before, telling the crowd, "I've always avoided this because I felt that it would be too emotional, but I really felt it was important to come down here tonight. I love you very, very, very much."
Priscilla added, "This is something that Elvis would never, ever have believed could have taken place here."
Presley died on 16 August 1977 after suffering a heart attack at the age of 42.
