A man fell to his death in Central London today, from a building that is becoming notorious as a suicide hotspot.
The man, who has yet to be identified, fell from a walkway near the entrance to the Coq D'argent restaurant at the top of the No 1 Poultry building.
A spokeswoman for the City of London Police said: At 12:41pm police received reports of a man being seen to fall from a walkway inside 1 Poultry which is the corner of Poultry Street and Queen Vic Street.

"He was pronounced dead at the scene and police have launched an enquiry."
She was the third person in five years fall to their death from the restaurant, which was founded by Sir Terence Conran.
D&D London, owners of the restaurant, said in a statement: "A police investigation is currently underway into the tragic incident today at No.1 Poultry.
"At present it appears to us that the individual concerned did not enter the restaurant. It would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.
"At Coq d'Argent the health and safety of our customers is of paramount importance. We have complied with and have confirmation that all requisite safety standards are in place.
"Since the sad incident of last month, we continue to explore other measures to prevent these tragedies reoccurring.
"We are working closely with the police, health and safety authorities, the owners of the building and the Samaritans"
