Expect events from Apple and other big players like Samsung to follow, before SXSW puts the spotlight on social media in the early spring.
Once summer comes around we'll be focused on games: rumours of a new Xbox and PS4 for Christmas 2013 refuse to die and we hope to see more at E3. By then Nintendo's Wii U will hopefully be bedded down with some great post-launch titles too - and there's always a new FIFA to look forward to.
