The fire in the Tazreen Fashion seven-storey building on the outskirts of the capital, Dhaka, forced 12 workers to jump to their deaths from the upper floors.

According to the BBC, the blaze was brought under control by Sunday morning and one hundred bodies had been recovered from inside the factory.
A large crowd of anxious relatives had gathered outside waiting for news, reports the Guardian.
