Marissa Mayer, the chief executive of Yahoo, has broken her silence about becoming a new mother while managing the top job at the ailing technology company.
Mayer made headlines in July earlier this year when she became the youngest ever chief executive of a Fortune 500 company and the first one to be pregnant too.
She was six months pregnant when her appointment was announced and her decision to only take two weeks maternity leave prompted much debate amongst working women.

Mayer had her baby in September but has not spoken about the balancing act of parenting and working until now.
