As by-election fever sweeps the political partisans of Britain and the south east constituency of Eastleigh becomes a throbbing hub of journalists, party activists and politicians, there is one part of the teeming populous who are fed-up of the whole damn thing: the voters.
While candidates marched around the constituency, acolytes brandishing signs like mercenaries, eager fists stuffed with leaflets, the residents of Eastleigh have hidden behind their lace curtains and waited for the tumult to pass.
