Coming this close to April Fool's Day, we find it hard to believe this one - but if true, it's the biggest advance in golf-related technology since the putter with the suction cup on the end.
Ladies and gentleman, polite applause for… the hovercraft golf cart.
PGA Tour golfer Bubba Watson has unveiled the miraculous machine in a video posted to YouTube.
The craft is able to float over sand traps and water hazards, and speed quickly along the fairway.
The so-called 'BW1' can go "anywhere you want to go", Watson said.
"My ball likes to go in and out of the woods so we gotta be able to get there in the quickest way possible," he said in the video.
The craft was designed by Neoteric Hovercraft from Indiana in the US. It has a roof, enough space for two sets of clubs and can be operated as simply as a (non hovering) golf cart.
