The annual Stilton Cheese Rolling festival was held on Monday in the village that gave its name to the creamy blue-veined delicacy.
This year's theme was' Celebrating The Movies' and contenders dressed as the Smurfs, Cool Running and even Jaws.
Perhaps surprisingly though, Stilton cheese is not actually produced in the village.
It is protected by a Certification Trade Mark and EU Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and can only be made in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

The villagers of Stilton are currently engaged in a campaign to bring it back to the village.
