The first photo from Lars Von Trier's sex film 'Nymphomaniac' has been unveiled.
It features the film's game cast in a bunch of almost-compromising positions, including what looks like a shirtless Shia LaBeouf acting as handy man while a young woman straddles his body (lower left).
In the middle, Willem Dafoe is shown with a coffee stain on his trousers; a young woman kneels before him to clean it off.
Stars Charlotte Gainsbourg and Uma Thurman, meanwhile, both appear with their legs spread in different places within the frame.
Von Trier stands in the back. With a camera. And duct tape over his mouth.
It was first reported the film will feature real sex. LaBeouf told MTV: "It is what you think it is. There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says, we're doing [the sex] for real. And anything that is 'illegal' will be shot in blurred images, but other than that, everything is happening."
But it has now been confirmed the romp will only feature simulated sex and not actual intercourse.
Shia LaBeouf, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, last year announced he's finished making blockbusters.
"There's no room for being a visionary in the studio system. It literally cannot exist," he said, before adding, "[The studios] give you the money, then get on a plane and come to the set and stick a finger up your ass and chase you around for five months."
The two-part film, 'Nymphomaniac', will debut in Denmark on Christmas day (of all days), before its worldwide rollout begins soon after.
