In the oddest news we have definitely heard this year, Karl Lagerfeld has claimed he is in love with his pet cat and wants to marry her.
The French fashion designer and Chanel creative director has said he is sad that it was not possible to legally marry the siamese cat, named Choupette.
He told CNN: “You know, there is no marriage yet for human beings and animals. I never thought that I would fall in love like this with a cat.”
The kitty also has it's own Twitter account with over 28,000 followers, with her biography on the site reading: "I'm a famous beauty who refuses to eat on the floor & my maids pamper my every need. I am Choupette Lagerfeld and I am a spoiled pussy. #Chanel"
The designer has even splashed out on an iPad for the pampered pussycat, who also has her own personal maid so that they can write down her every move when Lagerfeld is away.
