If there's one thing that annoys an internet behemoth like Google, it's the fact that the majority of people on Earth still do not have access to the web.
In order to remedy this they have developed 'Project Loon'.
But needless to say, laying the sort of fibre-optic cables that most of us in the UK rely on isn't exactly practical in certain parts of the globe.
Google's elegant solution is to launch a network of balloons that beam the internet to wherever it is needed, steering them with high-altitude winds 20km up.
