Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is the wealthiest member of Congress, according to The Hill.
The House Oversight Committee chairman tops The Hill's 50 Wealthiest list this year, raking in a reported $355 million in 2012. Coming in second place is Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), who is worth at least $101 million.
The Atlantic notes Issa has significantly increased his wealth in just four years -- in 2008, his fortune was worth roughly $160 million. He made his fortune as the head of the company that makes the Viper car alarm.
