"He loves it. He wants to do it himself but he can’t at the moment because he is playing football," Abbey said.

She also revealed that Peter cried after she topped the 'Strictly' leaderboard last weekend with partner Aljaz Skorjanec, scoring 32 out of 40 for their waltz.

“He said he was crying as he was so moved. He was watching it with our daughter Sophia, and she was like: ‘Mummy is like a princess.’”

Abbey also insisted that her hubby was not jealous of her sexy dance partner, revealing the pair have a 'bromance going on'.

"They are always talking football and I am like: ‘Can we dance?’" she laughed.

Abbey appears on 'Chatty Man' tonight at 10pm on Channel 4, along with fellow contestants Sophie Ellis Bextor, Julien Macdonald, and Ben Cohen, and 'Strictly' host Tess Daly.
