Southampton University Offers Generous £30 Tuition Fee Refund

A university is offering a mind-bogglingly generous refund on tuition fees for any student who coughed up their tuition fees in full.

But don't get too excited: the refund is 1%, which amounts to a paltry £30. Or, if you're unfortunate enough to be paying the full £9,000, then you'll get £90.

Southampton University made the gracious gesture for anyone who paid before the stroke of midnight on the last day of September. but handily didn't tell anyone about it until October 8 - basically until it was too late. Nice one chaps.
