‘Becoming me’ is a new short film directed by BAFTA winning documentary maker, Ben Anthony. It explores the notion of fulfillment in our working lives in 2013.
In an age where many of us spend more time with our colleagues than our families, change jobs every four years and where over a third of us feel unchallenged by our work, it’s clearly a timely issue.
Against this setting, ‘Becoming Me’ uncovers stories of people who have found genuine fulfillment in their professional lives, in a diverse range of careers. Their lives have rarely been straight lines. And in their stories many of us will find real parallels in our own.
The film has been created by a groundbreaking partnership with Randstad global recruitment, as part of their new ‘How I Became’ initiative: A new online platform designed to challenge the way that we look at our careers by uncovering what success really looks like. Its ambition is to allow us to learn from those who have already found success and encourage us all to pass on advice to help others find their ‘right fit’ too.
