'X Factor' is famed for its weeping contestants and since Nicole Scherzinger joined the panel - its bleary eyed judges too, but once the cameras stop rolling the singer admitted she doesn't stop caring about the contestants who have been sent home.
During a pre-recordered appearance on 'Alan Carr Chatty Man', Nicole spoke about having to tell aspiring pop stars they hadn't been successful during the Judges' Houses stages.

She told the comedian: “When the contestants don't get picked, they fly home that afternoon. They do get counselling when they come home as a lot of them are so young."
But that’s not all she struggles with, this year's new bootcamp twist, which saw some contestants losing their spot at the last minute to be replaced by another singing hopeful, was also hard going on Nicole.
She added: “It was brutal. It broke my heart. I lose sleep over this show all the time. It was so emotional for everyone. There were so many tears.”
And with emotions running high every week they’ll be even more waterworks coming up – best stock up on the waterproof mascara Nicole!
