Tottenham defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto appeared to mock their 5-0 trouncing at the hands of Liverpool on Sunday night on Twitter.
Assou-Ekotto posted a picture of himself with Spurs striker Emmanuel Adebayor together on Twitter, and appeared to make reference to the result.
"What a game tonight....happy to see my man @E_Adebayor (LOL)," Assou-Ekotto tweeted moments after the final whistle.
Perhaps unintentionally, the duo held up five fingers between them, too.
Assou-Ekotto is currently out on loan at Queens Park Rangers, and Spurs' problems at left-back have exacerbated in his absence.
His replacement, Danny Rose, has been injured for the majority of the season, with Jan Vertonghen - superior at centre-half - often deployed at full-back.
Vertonghen, however, was injured for Liverpool's visit, and Kyle Naughton filled in so calamitously he was substituted at half-time for Ezekiel Fryers.
